2009 Winter/Spring League Results – Week #9

When the water rises to record levels, it’s not surprising to see a couple of Lifeguards show up.  Tonight, however, it only took TWO Lifeguards to take the top honors (by only FOUR POINTS)!  It came down to the last round and the Lifeguards of the Gene Pool aced it to not only win the night with 1088 points (44 of 60 questions correct), but they set one of the highest “per capita” scores on record (544 points!).

The leader board changed hands a couple of times throughout the night and The Lost Generation almost locked in 1st place.  They ended up with 1084 points and 48 of 60 correct for the night.  They continue to broaden their lead on the overall leader board (just shy of 2,000 points out in first). 

The Zipperheads finished 3rd with 1014 points and 48 of 60 questions correct.

Since this was week #9, that means that we have only 3 weeks left in this season and starting next week, we will start to automatically drop the lowest score for each team each week.  We only count the highest 9 scores to determine the season winners.

The leader boards will change significantly, starting next week, so it’s hard to say who is the best position for each category.  It’s going to be an exciting finish for sure.
